Appointment of Arbitrators

The appointment of arbitrators is a key stage in ensuring a fair and impartial dispute resolution process. Depending on the agreement between parties or the complexity of the dispute, the tribunal may consist of either a single arbitrator or a three-member panel.

Single Arbitrator Appointment
In simpler disputes or where parties mutually agree, a single neutral arbitrator is appointed to handle the entire case, ensuring quick and efficient decision-making.
Three-Member Tribunal
+
A three-member tribunal is formed. Each party nominates one arbitrator, and the two appointed arbitrators jointly choose the third — known as the Presiding Arbitrator.
Fairness & Balanced Decision-Making
+
This structure ensures neutrality, diverse expertise, and a balanced evaluation of the dispute, strengthening the credibility and fairness of the arbitration process.

Statement of Claims & Defence

This stage ensures that both parties formally present their claims and responses. It forms the foundation of the dispute, providing clarity, structure, and a clear direction for the arbitration proceedings.

Statement of Claims
The claimant submits a structured document outlining facts, legal grounds, and the relief sought. It provides a clear narrative of the dispute and officially notifies the respondent.
Statement of Defence
+
The respondent presents admissions, denials, legal arguments, and any counterclaims. This ensures both parties’ positions are fully documented for evaluation.
Digital Case Management
+
All documents are stored in a centralized, searchable system, enabling lawyers, parties, and arbitrators to easily track submissions and updates throughout the process.

Cross-Examination
+
The opposing party questions witnesses to test the accuracy, reliability, and credibility of their statements, ensuring transparency and fairness in the proceedings.
Oral Submissions
+
Lawyers present structured verbal arguments summarizing facts, evidence, and legal positions to guide the tribunal toward a well- reasoned outcome.

Award

Award represents the final and binding determination of the arbitral tribunal. It is issued in accordance with applicable law, institutional rules, and due process standards. The award conclusively resolves the dispute between the parties.
