D.Sathyaraj has completed his Law Degree in the year 1998 from Government Law College, Trichy and also an undergraduate of History from Bishop Colloege at Trichy. After his enrollment with the Bar Council of Tamilnadu, he associated himself as a junior with Mr.Shanmugavelayutham who was the Public Prosecutor in the State of Tamilnadu. Thereafter he joined as a junior with Mr.SankaraSubramaniam who was a former Government Pleader of Tirunelveli District. From 2002 he started his independent practice and he is empanelled in various Banks, Non-Banking Finance Companies and also he appears in various Criminal and Civil Cases before the Apex Court of India and various High Courts in India.
Icing on the cake is that he was appointed as a Special Government Pleader of Tamilnadu. In his tenure he had handled various types of cases on behalf of State of Tamilnadu before various bench of High Court of Madras. He is one of the Successful Advocate in the Banking Industry and having more than 46 reputed Banks and Non-Banking Financial companies in his clientele list. S.Sheik Ismail was associated as Junior Advocate with Mr. K.Kannapa Rajendran, Advocate Former-Government Advocate (Criminal Side), Chennai and Additional Central Government Standing Counsel in the High Court, Madras. Thereafter he joined as a junior in the office of Eminent Lawyer Late Mr.Biksheswaran wherein he was working under Miss.K.Banumathi and Mr. Chandramoulesswaran. For public cause, he has filed a Public Interest Litigation against State Government for illegal sand mining in Cauvery River belt wherein the High Court of Madras granted stay of illegal sand mining and finally formulated the regulations of sand mining in that locality which saved the livelihood of many farmers of that region. With 23 years of experience in the field he had appeared before the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts in India. He has conducted many Criminal Trials particularly Murder case.
